The Challenge
Working with the Ricoh Telco division, supporting resource requirements on the national 5G rollout programme for a major Mobile Network provider. Tasked with building various large squads of technical teams across the programme of work, starting from the ground up. The programme was varied, with multiple layers and teams with differing skill sets, including Field Services for the decommissioning and installation, RAN Engineering and a team of Delivery / Deployment Managers all specialising in Mobile Networks.
The Solution
Using elements of our TRS framework we worked with the Senior Programme team and Delivery Directors, we quickly built talents pools of specialist contractors from both our ECS Accredited team and vast networking channels with the Mobile Networks sector, that were both fully compliant and available to start at short notice.
The Result
All phase 1 of the project was delivered on time and within budget, mainly due to the skills and expertise we found and the reliability of the Accredited team and trusted Engineers / Managers we deployed on the programme. Phase 2 is now well underway and over 95% of the consultants we placed have been recalled.
