The Challenge
Engaged with Garbuio who were following a large SAP/ERP implementation plan by their European Head Office. The client didn’t have any internal expertise, had concerns over the European team capturing the requirements, delivering the implementation, end user training and fitting in with UK regulation. The client wasn’t sure who or what he needed, but knew he needed an ERP expert to make sure the system delivered was useable in the UK, and still keep this in budget.
The Solution
We devised a plan to use two ERP Consultants on a part-time basis, to recapture requirements, rewrite functional specifications, data cleanse / test and train the UK based end users. We used two to cover each module that was to be implemented, but each part time to keep the costs down. The consultants would also be there for the floorwalking during the go-live.
The Result
Fully functioning SAP/ERP team currently providing high level expertise and projects plans for the forthcoming go live in 2020/2021.
