ECS Snowdon Trek for Prostate Cancer UK
On 20th September 2024, ECS will take on the challenge of following the Rhyd-Ddu path to the top of Snowdon to raise funds for Prostate Cancer UK. We can't guarantee the weather but we can guarantee an unforgettable experience!
Prostate Cancer UK are striving for a world where no man dies from prostate cancer.
Currently, 1 in 8 men will get prostate cancer. If you’re over 50, or you’re black, or your dad or brother had it, you’re at even higher risk. Prostate cancer is not always life-threatening. But when it is, the earlier you catch it the more likely it is to be cured.
Having already invested over £75 million into the best researchers in the world to unravel the complexity of prostate cancer. The advances in testing, funded by our supporters – like huge improvements in MRI scans- are blazing a trail towards a screening programme. In the near future, every man at risk of prostate cancer could be invited for regular, accurate tests that can catch cancer early enough for a cure, saving thousands of our Dads, partners, brothers and friends every year.
We'd really appreciate any donations to our JustGiving page
